Our competences span the full project lifecycle from site screening and characterization, subsurface evaluation, well planning and drilling, well completion with suitable materials for temperature/pressure/fluid compositions, preparation for well tests, installation of ESP pumps, and well interventions. Our expertise is within low to medium temperature (< 150°C) geothermal projects.

We deliver well designs and drilling programs for different purposes ranging from exploration and appraisal wells to injection and production wells with focus on functionality and integrity for the required lifetime.

A good understanding of the overall geothermal project purpose, the wells’ operational philosophy and expected lifetime as well as the subsurface properties and conditions and reservoir management is a prerequisite to the planning and drilling of wells with the required functionality and integrity. Projects are carried out in close collaboration with our customers to ensure the services and products (results) fulfil the needs and requirements.

Through the years, we have delivered work within geothermal energy for clients in Denmark, The Netherlands, United States, Sweden, Italy, Germany and Philippines.

• High-level play screening of potential reservoirs, depths, and temperatures in large areas
• Focused investigation of sites and reservoirs based on geological, geophysical, and reservoir engineering studies
• Calculation of pre-drill indicative geothermal power, required pump power, pump volume and COP  
• Project specific and relevant offset well reviews (subsurface and engineering)
• Designs of water injection and production wells and well planning, writing drilling, completion, and test programmes
• Recommendations of well completion material selection for variety of formations water chemistry/temperature and pressure
• Planning for multiple/various well interventions and executions (exchanging ESP pump, cleaning out wells, scale and corrosion investigations)
• Supervisions on site and back-office support
